Like, were they running AC or DC when they tested it? What sound frequency were they using? What level of distortion were they willing to accept? So in my opinion, you should only compare data from the same manufacturer, because they probably used the same testing methodology across all their models. Keep in mind there's a lot they don't tell you. Wattage can be given 3 different ways: RMS (the most conservative), MPO (music power which is less conservative), and PMPO (peak music power which is basically bullcrap). ![]() I have combined both channels - So if it says 10W, it means 5W per channel. The power output is official manufacturer data. For reference, 6 Duracell D batteries = 1.8 lbs, 8 = 2.4 lbs, and 10 = 3 lbs. ![]() The weights are without batteries unless otherwise stated.
